It's a pity you don't have a donate button! I'd most certainly donate to this superb blog! I suppose for now i'll settle for book-marking and adding your RSS feed to my Google account. I look forward to fresh updates and will share this blog with my Facebook group.
Thanks! Yeah, I had a lot of fun coming up with this concept, but damn, was it ever tedious to do all the line-art for them! Sorry again that this page took so long to get up. I really do wanna eventually do more, but as I've said, I might have to reconsider... or at least change the format. Heck, I might even reboot the series in a different format that I can handle!
There is in fact a connection between that flying saucer and the one in the dream. I can't say they're exactly the same one, but there is something very similar about them - can you guess it?
Anyway, It's always nice to talk to you. Thanks for continuing to read. Until next time! :3
This may not be an effective long-term solution, but you could split the comic pages down to 2-3 smaller ones with only 1-2 lines of panels per page. It should allow you to make more pages faster at the expanse of less content per page, but that would make any slowdowns cause less of an impact on the rate of story progression. And be less noticeable to the readers.
Both of them look like 11-sided orange juicers? I honestly don't see anything particularly stand out about them.
Theories: - Riley is psychic and had a prophetic dream that he'll see a flying saucer. - Riley is connected to the saucer somehow... Maybe he saw one as a puppy and it shook him up. (True story: I actually saw a UFO once as a child... And was scared for years afterwards...) Perhaps it's related to his parents somehow? - The saucer in Riley's dream was a psychic signal to him from the aliens. Maybe he has a genetic programming similar to the movie "Species", and his dream pregnancy is a part of it... Perhaps he's now going to gorge himself up and then pupate in order to transform into his "adult" form?
Oh, and I'll answer the email in the next few days.
I have actually thought of doing that, doing smaller, newspaper-sized strips twice a week instead of the full pages. I'm still considering it, the only problem being that it might be awkward to try and switch to that format in the middle of the chapter, and I'm just too burned out to keep doing full pages now. However, I did have another idea that I could start working on really soon: Finally get a dedicated FurAffinity page and start uploading the chapters in written story form, and see how popular they are. Then I could see about adapting the stories back into comic form after the fact, while the written stories could keep surging forward.
Heh, your first theory is the closest to the truth! Although the second one is something that could possibly be worked into the story as well, now that I think about it. I'm going to try to start working on one more page later this week into next week, if I can get it done soon enough, it will explain most of this. If it ends up being another lengthy delay, I'll just tell you the next time I email you. But I am planning on drawing another page before too long.
Take your time in replying to my email, I know how life can be. And yes, I have been getting quite a bit of spam... A couple days ago I had to delete 43 comments, each one of them full of generic complements and using terms like "this article," "this topic," and "very informative." I let a few of them through, just in case they might be from real readers - but most of them are clearly not.
I found a sea shell and gave it to my 4 year old daughter and said "You can hear the ocean if you put this to your ear." She put the shell to her ear and screamed. There was a hermit crab inside and it pinched her ear. She never wants to go back! LoL I know this is completely off topic but I had to tell someone!
My partner and I absolutely love your blog and find almost all of your post's to be just what I'm looking for.
Does one offer guest writers to write content in your case? I wouldn't mind creating a post or elaborating on a number of the subjects you write about here. Again, awesome site!
What i do not understood is in fact how you're no longer actually much more well-favored than you may be right now. You are very intelligent.
You understand therefore significantly in relation to this subject, made me individually believe it from a lot of various angles. Its like men and women aren't involved except it's one thing to do with Girl gaga! Your personal stuffs nice. At all times deal with it up!
Awesome story once again. Thank you;)

Talk soon!
It may have taken a while, but this page is just as good as otherwise. Your life should take priority over the comic.
ReplyDeleteHeh, I like it how in every panel the authority vehicles multiply. As if they were mysteriously popping into existence out of nowhere...
Is that the same kind of flying saucer that was in Riley's dream? A connection, maybe?

P.S. I suspect the comic has a spam problem.
