- I still think Bea should be dead or dying from the chemical exposure... And even if she survives, she's probably be sick and maybe crippled for the rest of her rather short life... - Just how did the RBI agents miss Bronto's giant limbs under the tarp? Or maybe, he's just holding really still and they think he's just a piece of artwork? - The country's called "The United Spots"? Interesting... And just which "Spot" is it taking place, exactly? (I don't remember if it was stated already or not) - There appears to be something written on the colonel's eye patch, but it's too small to make out. - Carl ordering Riley to stay and heel is just hilarious. And so is Riley trying to get himself arrested. - Rommel? He looks more like a Stauffenberg to me... - I honestly thought the phrase "Outside of the box" didn't have an "of" in it... Then again, English is not my first language, so I could have been wrong...
-Oh rest assured, Bea is going to be just fine. I have no intent on killing off any characters this soon, and if I ever do, it won't be like that! As I said earlier the Bronte-vomit is not nearly as toxic as it seems it would be (although exposure is generally not good either), and the vast majority of it was deflected away from her skin anyway. -As explained by Flounder towards the end of chapter 02, most "normal" folks can't even perceive something as weird as an ~18" goliath like Bronte. The RBI are generally good guys but they're also largely 'uncool'... so catching a glimpse of such a monster wouldn't even register in their minds. They'd likely just assume they were imagining it for some reason. -Yes, and it's been very vaguely hinted at, but this story so far has mostly taken place in the great spot of California! (That's right, California, not Califurnia or Colliefornia. The countries have pun-y names and so do a lot of the cities, such as the neighboring communities of Fort Bones, Muttague and Sacramutto, but the states/provinces/regions mostly parallel their real-world counterparts. -Col. Smyle's eyepatch actually features a cartoon eye with pretty eyelashes. He's... odd. -Thanks! It just wouldn't be Riley and Carl without some obligatory references to their un-evolved natures, in the form of acting like regular dogs! -Great reference, kinda appropriate in the scope of things. Unfortunately Riley doesn't have that depth of historical knowledge x3 -That's okay, "Outside the box" is a more common phrasing, but "Outside of" is close enough to be interchangeable.
