  1. - I just love that song... I do wonder how this particular version continues, though...
    - Fitzpatrick's gun goes "pew, pew"? It's an airsoft gun firing BBs, isn't it?
    - So meat-based attacks do +2 damage to vegans, but score automatic criticals against metal-based lifeforms?
    - Did Bea just got a massive shower of highly toxic metallic compounds? Can she even survive that? Or maybe whatever emerges from the puddle will be some sort of a half-Bea, half-Nick hybrid monstrosity?

    1. Torchfire, good to hear from you again :D
      1) Not sure, but I believe the second line goes something like, "Give him a lick, he tastes just like railings!"
      2) It is in fact a real gun, just a small-caliber one. Bronte's skin isn't quite as strong as solid metal, but it's pretty close (like a honey badger). It's just enough to deflect a 9mm bullet at more than a couple meters range. Meanwhile, Russel is too caught up in the moment to be worried for his own safety.
      3) Flounder mentioned this briefly toward the end of Chapter 02, that carbon-based foods will make Bronte sick. Amino acids clash with the protective ions of his gastrointestinal tract in a process similar to curdling, only much more shiny.
      4) Believe it or not, her flame-retardant jumpsuit (as well as copious amounts of hairspray) spared her from much of it, though she's probably in violation of some serious environmental codes. But I *LOVE* the idea of a Bea-Nick hybrid! Perhaps a Steely Bea. I plan on bringing her back as a protagonist at some point though, but I might be able to work that in somewhere down the line.
